Bert S. Braud graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (B.A., English, 1981), and the University of Kansas School of Law (J.D. 1984). He has worked at The Popham Law Firm since graduating from law school.
Bert specializes in trial practice, with a focus on employment discrimination litigation. He is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and their local Kansas City Chapter. He has held various offices in the Kansas City NELA affiliate, including President (2011-2013), Vice-President (2009-2011) and Secretary (2007-2009). He has also served on the Board of the Eighth Circuit NELA affiliate. His affiliation with NELA locally and nationally provides him access to leading experts in Employment Law from across the nation, and helps him stay current in this complex and changing area of law.
